The abilities, knowledge, and ideas of each employee are the company's capital. In order to maximize these abilities, we invest in people and utilize their growth in management. How does "human capital management," which is now attracting attention, affect the creation of corporate value? How should it be put into practice? We will explore these issues with leaders, while introducing corporate case studies.

ESG has been attracting much attention in recent years in Japan: why are investors focusing on the percentage of female board members, and how is the promotion of women's activities linked to a company's long-term growth? What are the obstacles to achieving gender equality in Japanese companies? We will explore the significance of gender equality in terms of "human resources" in the context of S (Social) of ESG from the words of experts and leaders of leading companies.

While the women's sports industry is gaining momentum, there are still issues to be addressed. What impact would a more active women's sports industry have in the future? What are the positive impacts? This session will look at the future of women's sports and the future of society.

Two entrepreneurs from different fields will discuss the importance of taking on challenges, overcoming obstacles, and the driving force behind their businesses. LiLiCo, known for her powerful and humorous MC style, will be the navigator. The talk will be delivered as a positive session that will encourage and inspire everyone to take a step forward and be willing to take on challenges.

The podcast program managed by Porsche, the sports car manufacturer that supports all the individuals who continue to pursue their dreams, is offered at the MASHING UP SUMMIT venue. On this International Women's Day, Naomi Kurahara, Co-Founder and CEO of the space venture Infostellar, talks about the source of her passion for chasing her dreams, what she has achieved so far, and her list of dreams (bucket list) that she wants to accomplish in the future.

The word “sensitivity,” which at first glance seems incompatible with business, is attracting much attention today. What can we do to bring out an individual’s unique ideas by casting doubt on society’s peer pressure and stereotypes? Through an art workshop that turns unused cosmetics into coloring materials, we will consider how to create organizations that respect each employee’s potential and diversity.

The gender gap challenge is one of the factors preventing Japanese startups, especially women entrepreneurs, from scaling. What diversity actions are needed in investment, fundraising, and startup support? What is necessary to revitalize the startup ecosystem? We will consider how to overcome these gender issues from the perspectives of the government, accelerators, and VC firms.

As the final stage of the International Women’s Day event, we will hold a networking party to honor female entrepreneurs and all female business people. It provides a place for female business people who share the same aspirations to connect and sympathize with each other and encourage the creation of communities in the future. There are also short sessions with up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
